TOP EXECUTIVES like CEOs and CFOs savvy buyers of their companies' shares. One long-term study showed that they beat the market on average by six percentage points a year. Over 20 years that's the difference between turning $10,000 into $67,000 and turning it into $194,000.

User Notes, Comments, and Questions
By default, the above list only share the trades that have at least 1000 shares.

All those trades were shown here, if you note that we show the trade date instead of the report date.
This is my first day using the insider trading data. I did a search on US insiders buys with no other limits. I did some random checking to see if the list is complete. The following 3 companies had insider buying but did not show up on the list:
AVCA insider buys 8/17/09
VRAD insider buys 9/15/09
DTPI insider buys 8/26/09

Pls advise. Thanks.
Why does the insider buy page say free for CFO/CEO but doesn't show the results without signing up for a premium membership?
There are a few that did not appear, but they have the footnote of "1. Stock Award granted under terms of the Methode Electronics, Inc. 2007 Stock Plan", therefore they are not open market purchases, and we are not going to list them.
Thanks Bearuo
Kazamai, it is an Indirect ownership transaction that went to his 401K. Ignore this. Might also want to pay attention to differences between open and non-open market transactions and also program (Rule 10b5-1) buy/sells. These footnotes are a pain, but important to code in an Edgar scraper.

There are some more MEI buys at ~$6.5 that have not yet appeared on this site.

I think there is a mistake with this

MEI
Methode Electronics Inc.
Tsoumas Ronald L.G. Controller & Treasurer 2009-07-09 Buy 1181 $5.52 6.5 17.03 4.1 9.4 256.1

the buy price cannot be $5.52 it should be like $6.52. It hasn't been $5.52 for a while.
I made some suggestions about how the insider downloading facility could be improved. You told me that you would be able to help. It has been a few months since I wrote, how are we going so far?
It is the "cost" listed there.
Suggest you post $dollars rather than shares, i.e., amount of investment more important than number of shares.
NYSE:UDR is Heading for a Dive

It has just been uncovered that UDR, Inc. in connection with its operating Limited Partnership, United Dominion Realty, L.P. has perpetrated substantial intentional fraud within its Orange County apartment leases and severe negligence in its California state regulatory filings in order to obtain and sustain a legal advantage over its tenants. This could quite possibly do irreparable harm to UDR's future performance. See [tenantadvocatesoforangecounty.wordpress.com] for more details.
