Vitamin Shoppe is a specialty retailer and direct marketer of nutritional products. Vitamin Shoppe Inc. has a market cap of $1.7 billion; its shares were traded at around $54.44 with a P/E ratio of 29.7 and P/S ratio of 2.

CEO of Vitamin Shoppe Inc. (VSI) Anthony N. Truesdale sold 31,807 shares on Aug. 16, 2012 at an average price of $56.85. The total transaction amount was $1,808,228.

Anthony Truesdale joined Vitamin Shoppe in 2006 as president and chief merchandising officer. In 2011, he was promoted to his current position. Before coming to the company, Mr. Truesdale served in many executive positions at PetSmart Inc. for seven years.

On Aug. 13, 2012, CEO Anthony N. Truesdale sold 110,952 shares of VSI stock at the average price of 56.63. Former President and COO Michael G. Archbold, Executive Chairman of the Board Richard L. Markee, and Director B. Michael Becker also sold shares of VSI stock.

Vitamin Shoppe announced their 2012 second quarter results. The company reported revenues of $244.98 million and net income of $16.6 million.

Selamectin (trade names Revolution, Stronghold) is a topical parasiticide and antihelminthic used on dogs and cats, distributed by Zoetis,[1] a former Pfizer subsidiary. It treats and prevents infections of heartworms, fleas, ear mites, sarcoptic mange (scabies), and certain types of ticks in dogs, and prevents heartworms, fleas, ear mites, hookworms, and roundworms in cats. It is structurally related to ivermectin and milbemycin. Selamectin is not approved for human use.
