Buffett in a straight forward, rational, coherent and thoughtful way does a masterful job of explaining the world of pension accounting and why so few have been able to match the returns of the indexes. And to think he wrote this nearly 40 years ago. For those interested Roger Lowenstein has written an in depth book on the pension crisis in America.
