Value Investing Legend Don Yacktman Provides His Reading List For Investors

What does a great value investor read?

Books relating to investing of course!

Charlie Munger has called Warren Buffett a "continuous learning machine".  He thinks Warren is a much better investor today than he was 30 years ago.

That is high praise from a man that doesn't praise often.

In the video below Yacktman tells us about some books we can read in order to keep getting better:

Thanks for posting. It's instructive to hear what reading an outstanding investor like Yacktman does. (Axd -- with all due respect, maybe you should listen again. Investing and business books were mentioned. In addition, when Munger or Buffett make recommendations for investors, it's mainly not investing books.)

Thanks for the post!

I find the best books to be business biographies, history (11th-21st Century), philosphy and psychology based, much like Vgm mentioned, most books that are reccommended by Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger and other great business gurus are usually not investment based.

@Axd07 Investing based reccommendations he stated - Manual of Ideas, Outliers, You Can Be a Stock Market Genius,The Black Swan

Cheers.
