Deep value investing at it's greatest:
-P/E, PEG, Price/Book a beauty compared to peer NBG.
-Heavily fear-discounted, doesn't have the hype that NBG has, trading on the OTC (many won't touch OTC stocks), doesn't carry the word "Greece" in title.
-People only read headlines, Oct 7 surge in Greek bank stocks came about due to Paulson news article "Paulson invests in Greek Banks". People didn't bother to read the article, piled into NBG.. Paulson isn't in NBG! Paulson invested in Piraeus and Alpha, both with 90%+ operations within Greece, most set to profit from Grekovery.
-Best management of any bank in Greece hands down, NBG is nearly a nationalized bank, 15% of voting common stock is held by Greek government through pension fund, each new government changes the entire management of NBG every election round. Alpha strong business ties, quality bank.
If you are seeking alpha, it's right here, staring you in the face.
