What about adding Charles de Vaulx as a guru? He ran First Eagle Global alongside Jean-Marie for years and started IVA in 2008. Just closed his IVA Worldwide fund to new investors on Friday. Is he worthy of guru status?

I never heard of Charles d. Vaulx. Is he a under-the-radar money manager who conservatively manages money for wealthy individuals?

I wouldn't say Charles is under the radar, but he definitely is less known (for now) than Jean-Marie Eveillard. Charles ran alongside Eveillard for a number of years at First Eagle but left in 2007 to run International Value Advisers (IVA). He is essentially employing the same value investing approach at IVA as he did at First Eagle. His worldwide fund has already closed as it took in around $15B in relatively short order. His #2 guy at IVA is Chuck de Lardemelle, who also came over from First Eagle along with about 10 other analysts.
