Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of April 2012

Best Dividend Paying Stocks Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. Here is a current dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. The companies are traded at AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and part of the Dow Jones, S&P 500 or Nasdaq Composite. Date of the screen is April 01, 2012. The list is selected by the following criteria:

Market capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0< 100
Dividend Yield: > 3< 20
Return on investment: > 10< 100
Operating Margin: > 10< 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8< 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10< 100

This month, we have major changes in our screening results of the best dividend paying stocks list. Abbott Laboratories (ABT) is new on #1 and has repressed MF Financial (MFA) to #11. In addition, the resource company BHP Billiton (BHP/BBL) is back under the top three and behind Alliance Resource Partners (ARLP).

Here are my most promising stocks from the list:

1. Novartis (NVS) has a market capitalization of $133.35 billion. The company employs 123,686 people, generates revenues of $59,375.00 million and has a net income of $9,245.00 million. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $15,751.00 million. Because of these figures, the EBITDA margin is 26.53 percent (operating margin 18.52 percent and the net profit margin finally 15.57 percent).

The total debt representing 17.22 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 30.72 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 97.16 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $8.82. Last fiscal year, the company paid $4.00 in form of dividends to shareholders.

3. Garmin (GRMN) has a market capitalization of $9.14 billion. The company employs 9,229 people, generates revenues of $2,758.57 million and has a net income of $520.90 million. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $641.60 million. Because of these figures, the EBITDA margin is 23.26 percent (operating margin 20.07 percent and the net profit margin finally 18.88 percent).

The total debt representing 0.00 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 0.00 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 16.52 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $2.67. Last fiscal year, the company paid $1.60 in form of dividends to shareholders.

Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 17.58, P/S ratio 3.54 and P/B ratio 2.81. Dividend Yield: 3.41 percent. The beta ratio is 1.37.
