100 Most-Sold Stocks by Famous Investment Gurus

Recently, I published a list of the 100 most-bought stocks by investment gurus. Some of my readers liked the idea to see what stock purchases professional investors made. Today I expand this method by stocks which were sold mostly by investment gurus.

Linked is a detailed list of the 100 most-sold stocks by 49 super investors. They all combined sold 528 different stocks within the past half-year.

Dell and Lowe’s were the top choices. Eight investment gurus sold the computer manufacturer and six the home improvement store chain.

Here are the best yielding results:

AT&T (T) has a market capitalization of $209.67 billion. The company employs 242,000 people, generates revenue of $127.434 billion and has a net income of $7.539 billion. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $31.083 billion. The EBITDA margin is 24.39 percent (the operating margin is 10.15 percent and the net profit margin 5.92 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 25.65 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 75.62 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 7.34 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $1.21. Last fiscal year, the company paid $1.77 in the form of dividends to shareholders. T were sold by 3 investment gurus.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 31.43, the P/S ratio is 1.63 and the P/B ratio is finally 2.28. The dividend yield amounts to 4.77 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 0.53.

ConocoPhillips (COP) has a market capitalization of $73.56 billion. The company employs 16,900 people, generates revenue of $62.004 billion and has a net income of $7.481 billion. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $22.753 billion. The EBITDA margin is 36.70 percent (the operating margin is 24.87 percent and the net profit margin 12.07 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 18.55 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 45.27 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 13.09 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $5.91. Last fiscal year, the company paid $2.64 in the form of dividends to shareholders. COP shares were sold by 3 investment gurus.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 10.20, the P/S ratio is 1.18 and the P/B ratio is finally 1.52. The dividend yield amounts to 4.42 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 1.10.

Intel Corporation (INTC) has a market capitalization of $110.10 billion. The company employs 105,000 people, generates revenue of $53.341 billion and has a net income of $11.005 billion. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $22.160 billion. The EBITDA margin is 41.54 percent (the operating margin is 27.44 percent and the net profit margin 20.63 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 15.94 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 26.26 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 22.66 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $2.13. Last fiscal year, the company paid $0.87 in the form of dividends to shareholders. INTC shares were sold by 3 investment gurus.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 10.45, the P/S ratio is 2.02 and the P/B ratio is finally 2.10. The dividend yield amounts to 4.14 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 1.02.

Take a closer look at the full table of stocks with biggest guru sells over the past six months. The average P/E ratio amounts to 17.84. Exactly 82 companies pay dividends. The average dividend yield amounts to 1.70 percent. P/S ratio is 2.25 and P/B ratio 3.18.
