    • Jim,

I LOVE to provide clarification to good questions. Back in the day, I filled a role where Greenbrier and Trinity were both direct competitors in various aspects of my business.

Sometimes things change for the better, sometimes things change for the worse. I always felt the management at Greenbrier was more effective when I was competing against them and I haven't seen anyting in the last week that altered that opinion.

      Best regards and better profits,

      Ken

    • Jim,

That is a very good question. The reason I prefer Greenbrier is that I like their management group better.

I think Tirnity has a bit more diversification than Greenbrier but they also have a fair bit of exposure to various aspects of the energy industry. It has a somewhat significant presence in the pressure vessel business which is always challenging and very competitive on the margin side.

Overall, I think it is a close call but the management at Greenbrier tipped it for me.

      Best regards and better profits,

      Ken

    • It would appear so today but there are still 12 trading days left AND I don't mind owning the stock at $30.  PLUS, I will also be able to sell $30 covered calls against the shares should I choose to do so.

      Best regards and better profits,

      Ken
