    • Hi Bram,

Thank you for the good article.

IMO the point you presented are stronger on the sell side. Buffett has little to lose from selling WFC, maybe a bit on the selling price, as he unloads a large position.

For him the question will be either to do it quickly (which will reduce the price) or slowly (which will also reduce the price once people who follow him will hear that he is selling). So it is reduction in market price for WFC anyway.

If he does not sell, he might lose credibility and that is something I think he does not want in any case. I don't know him, I am guessing.

Now I am sure you know, it is also a time where the Economist wrote a nasty article about him (which was complete BS in my opinion) but he is human and while he might have chuckled on the outside (the right reaction to such nonesense), inside he felt a bit of a pain because for him it is important to keep his image in tact, especially after so many years of being so good at what he does without compromising his principles.

One question I am not sure I understand from your writing:

Why do you think Buffett will still hold it by next year's annual meeting?

What stops him from selling it at any moment? Is it related to him being more then 10% holder?

Thank you again for a good writeup.
