More about BNI:

(GuruFocus, November 3, 2009) Today's big story is Berkshire Hathaway's proposed acquisition of Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNI). The media has been full of commentators who are eager to give their opinions.

One of the people who happened to be interviewed by media is Bruce Berkowitz. He appeared tonight on PBS with Paul Kangas in Nightly Business News.

As Berkowitz was scheduled to be on the program tonight at the beginning of the week, he was not dragged into the crowd to give an opinion.

And he did give a very positive opinion to the Berkshire-Burlington acquisition. he thought it is a good move on Buffett's part as the deal will smooth the operation results of Berkshire that is currently very volatile because of the Insurance businesses. It is a step for Buffett to put cash to work and Berkowitz thinks Buffett will put more cash to work during the current recession.

Berkowitz also commented on why he think health care related stocks account for about 40% of his portfolio, and he defended why his holdings are rather concentrated.
