Seth Klarman at CFA Conference: Opportunities for Patient Investors

Seth Klarman was interviewed by WSJ columnist Jason Zweig at the CFA institute several months ago. Since the interview, the value investing world had been going wild trying to find the full text of the speech. Thanks to Whitney Tilson I was able to discover the entire 11 page interview. The interview covers a variety of topics including how Klarman is protecting investors from inflation, his thoughts on short selling, and financial reform. Klarman mentions how he manages his found Baupost, and how to avoid acting like the rest of the crowd. Towards the end of the interview Klarman recommends several books which I posted in a separate article that can be found here.
