At least one great investor is taking advantage of the European crisis. Wilbur Ross was on CNBC yesterday discussing his purchase of an Irish bank. Wilbur Ross, along with private equity firm Carlyle and Dublin-based Cardinal Group, will buy troubled Irish bank Education Savings Bank.

Ross also discussed how the Irish economy went from one of the best in Europe to the worst all due to their speculation in real estate. Ross thinks real estate will continue to do poorly in Ireland, however he believes Education Savings Bank is trading at an attractive value.

Ross thinks the Government is making the right moves in cutting the public debt. Ross contrasts the actions of the Greek Government, and the Irish Government.
