New Gurus: Charles de Vaulx and Chuck de Lardemelle of IVA Funds
Charles de Vaulx was the "original" hand picked replacement for Jean Marie Eveillard (Note: I am not trying to take away from First Eagle's current management team. I am just stating a fact.). Chuck and Charles and a huge number of othe First Eagle alumni have set up shop at IVA funds. Yes, it is a brand new entity, however in my opinion one could call it as has been said- "A fine old wine in a new bottle". I think these guys are WELL worth watching and learning from. They have mutual funds and obviously report their quarterly holdings to the SEC.
