HOUSTON, May 05, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. (: PARR) (“Par Pacific” or the Company”) today announced business updates related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Par Pacific has implemented a furlough of 29 employees in response to the previously announced decline in throughput rates at its refineries in Kapolei, Hawaii. The reduction in staff is not expected to affect the Company’s ability to maintain an ample supply of refined product to satisfy Hawaii's needs. Considering these updates and the impact of COVID-19, Par Pacific’s President and Chief Executive Officer and the independent members of the Company’s Board of Directors will reduce their cash salaries by 75%, effective today.
