3 Promising Specialty Chemical Stocks

Dividend stocks should be a part of everybody’s long-term stock portfolio. Let’s take a look into the specialty chemicals industry, an industry that I have analyzed by the best yielding dividend stocks. Stocks from the industry have a total market capitalization of roughly $1 trillion. The average industry P/E ratio amounts to 11.7, P/B 3.8 and P/S 5.6. The industyy dividend yield amounts to 2.3%.

I screened the industry by stocks with a market capitalization of more than $2 billion, a dividend yield above 2% and a forward P/E ratio of less than 15. Finally, the stock should have an earnings per share growth for the next five years of more than 5%. Below are three major dividend paying players from the industry that met these criteria:

1. Williams Partners (WPZ) has a market capitalization of $15.5 billion, generates revenues in an amount of $6.1 billion and a net income of $876.0 million. It follows P/E ratio is 17.3 and forward price to earnings ratio 14.5, Price/Sales 2.6 and Price/Book ratio 3.1. Dividend Yield: 5.5 percent. The expected EPS growth for next year amounts to 3.7 and 7.0 percent for the upcoming five years.

2. PPG Industries (PPG) has a market capitalization of $11.5 billion, generates revenues in an amount of $14.4 billion and a net income of $1.0 billion. It follows P/E ratio is 11.5 and forward price to earnings ratio 9.9, Price/Sales 1.1 and Price/Book ratio 2.8. Dividend Yield: 3.1 percent. The expected EPS growth for next year amounts to 7.3 and 10.5 percent for the upcoming five years.

3. International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has a market capitalization of $4.5 billion, generates revenues in an amount of $2.7 billion and a net income of $292.8 million. It follows P/E ratio is 15.5 and forward price to earnings ratio 13.0, Price/Sales 1.7 and Price/Book ratio 3.8. Dividend Yield: 2.2 percent. The expected EPS growth for next year amounts to 11.1 and 6.9 percent for the upcoming five years.
