I screened the sector by stocks with low volatility. As a rating measure, I selected a beta ratio of less than one. In addition, the stock should have a positive dividend yield of more than 3 percent. In order to eliminate the risk of low capitalized stocks, I observed only stocks with a market capitalization of more than $2 billion.

1. Waste Management (WM) is acting within the waste management industry. The company has a market capitalization of $15.2 billion, generates revenues in an amount of $12.9 billion and a net income of $948.0 million. It follows P/E ratio is 16.3 and forward price to earnings ratio 13.2, Price/Sales 1.2 and Price/Book ratio 2.4. Dividend Yield: 4.2 percent. The beta ratio amounts to 0.62.

2. Raytheon (RTN) is acting within the major diversified aerospace and defense industry. The company has a market capitalization of $14.7 billion, generates revenues in an amount of $25.4 billion and a net income of $2.0 billion. It follows P/E ratio is 7.8 and forward price to earnings ratio 7.5, Price/Sales 0.6 and Price/Book ratio 1.4. Dividend Yield: 4.1 percent. The beta ratio amounts to 0.68.

3. Lockheed Martin (LMT) is acting within the aerospace and defense products industry. The company has a market capitalization of $25.3 billion, generates revenues in an amount of $46.4 billion and a net income of $2.7 billion. It follows P/E ratio is 10.0 and forward price to earnings ratio 8.7, Price/Sales 0.6 and Price/Book ratio 7.7. Dividend Yield: 4.0 percent. The beta ratio amounts to 0.95.
