Bill Gross, founder and chairman of PIMCO, was on CNBC providing his views on the Fed's current low interest monetary policy and its impact on the long-term bond market. He also provided his views on inflation and how the expectations are building up for high inflation and what should investors do to protect themselves.

He said, the Federal Reserve "is playing a game with us to some extent" by maintaining low interest rates, and he also expects another round of quantitative easing.

Gross spoke Tuesday after the Fed left its policy unchanged. While acknowledging signs of strength in the U.S. economy, it reiterated that unemployment is too high and interest rates would remain near zero until late 2014.
