Whitney Tilson, managing partner at value investment firm T2 Partners, was on CNBC to discuss his short position in Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) and his thesis on why he thinks that stock will continue to slide.

He sighted increased competition and them coming off patent at the end of this year as leading causes for the decline in the company's financial performance.

He also shared his advice on short positions. He recommended investors keep short positions a very small part of their portfolios.

Who cares what Tilson thinks he's just coattail riding. This guy spends more time talking about investments than thinking about investments.
