Joel Greenblatt of Gotham Asset Management was on CNBC's half time show discussing where value exists in the tech sector. Joel founded Gotham Capital in 1985 with $7 million and now manages more than $1 billion using a proprietary strategy to find value.

He’s also the best-selling author of The Little Book That Beats the Market — and co-founder of Formula Investing Funds — a family of mutual funds that allows retail investors to access his value investing strategies.

His top picks were Apple (AAPL, Financial), Microsoft (MSFT, Financial), Hewlett Packard (HPQ, Financial), Best Buy (BBY, Financial) and Kohl's (KSS, Financial).
