Doug Kass Sees Investment 'Toxic Cocktail'

September 18, 2012 | About:

Doug Kass, president of Seabreeze Partners was on CNBC to defend his call a month back that markets were overvalued and primed to decline. Here are his thoughts:

-- Investment environment has gotten way dangerous after recent run up in the markets.

-- He thinks earnings will be weak and that will bring markets down.

-- He thinks expected earnings slowdown, along with recent run up in the stock markets and more easing measures by the fed make an investment "toxic cocktail" environment.

-- As of today has the highest net short position for the year.
