Jim O'Neill of Goldman Sachs Asset Management was on CNBC to discuss his views on the market, and where he is finding value in the U.S. financial sector.

-- Very bullish on the U.S. Stock market and thinks the S&P 500 will be above 1500 before end of 2012.

-- Thinks the ongoing housing recovery will help the financials and finds regional banks to be very appealing.

-- Energy is very appealing.
