BlackRock Inc. (BLK)'s former CEO and current Senior Advisor, Bob Doll, was on CNBC to discuss his outlook for the US stock market. He thinks investors should take advantage of the market's current weakness and should take more positions in equities.

Highlights:

-Revenue growth patterns are sloppy but most of the weakness is coming from outside the US exposures.
-Political uncertainty will also keep cap on equities in the stock market.
-There is not going to be global recession.
-Current weakness is short term and investors should add to their positions.
-Equities are inexpensive and under-owned
