As the investing mogul’s Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A)(BRK.B) prepares to release its third-quarter portfolio, do you think you know what he bought? In the second quarter, there were five winners: Rgarga, Mohmand, Chihin, Ecotycoon and Luishernadez. They guessed that Buffett bought three of the following: Wells Fargo (WFC), IBM (IBM), Lee Enterprises (LEE), Viacom (VIA.B), Bank of New York Mellon (BK), Liberty Media (LMCA), DaVita (DVA) and DirecTV (DTV).

- Wells Fargo (WFC) - he mentioned he added around $1 billion. Purchase made by Buffett.

- Liberty Media (LMCA) - during July and August in traded below $100, therefore they must have added to the position, which was not that big. The purchases were most likely done by Ted Weschler.

- DaVita (DVA) - filings show that Berkshire has kept adding to their stake in this company. The purchases were most likely done by Ted Weschler, even though Todd Combs may have bought some too.
