I’ve followed Sandridge (SD) for a few years without really owning any shares. The rapid swings in management’s strategy have kept me away.

A smarter investor than I has seen value in Sandridge though, one Mr. Prem Watsa of Fairfax Financial.

Another astute investor, Dinakar Singh of hedge fund TPG-Axon, is also invested in Sandridge and is asking the company to fire its founding CEO Tom Ward. Should we jump on board for the ride with this activist investor?
