Last week's largest five companies that have reached their 52-week low are EchoStar Communications Corp, Ford Motor Company, Discover Financial Services, Penn West Energy Trust Units, and The Black & Decker Corp.

Banking has had the highest low/high ratio for quite some time now. 67 banks have reached their 52-week lows, while 8 have reached their 52-week highs, giving the banking industry a low/high ratio of 8.38. Its low/high surpasses every other industry by a lot.
