19 High-Yield Stocks Close to New 52-Week Highs

Do you often feel that your dividend income is not high enough and grows too slow? I do. The main reason for this is my low portfolio's dividend yield is around 3 percent pre-tax. I often look for higher-yielding companies with low risk, but I don’t find many stocks. The results are mainly dominated by Altria. A good technical indicator to screen stocks with solid growth is the 52-Week High mark. Stocks that crossed this mark become the focus of mainstream investors, and they normally have a positive momentum.

In order to find the best investment opportunities to buy, I made a sheet of high-yielding dividend stocks that are close to realizing new 52-week highs (up to 3 percent below new high). In addition, the market capitalization should be over USD300 million. Nineteen high dividend-paying companies fulfilled these criteria of which 10 are recommended to buy.

Here are the 3 best recommended stocks:PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (PMT) has a market capitalization of $1.45 billion. The company employs 429 people, generates revenue of $128.61 million and has a net income of $64.44 million. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $89.44 million. The EBITDA margin is 69.54 percent (the operating margin is 56.37 percent and the net profit margin 50.10 percent).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 13.06 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 33.16 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 14.72 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $3.24. Last fiscal year, the company paid $1.42 in the form of dividends to shareholders.
