Stock of Dallas-based Information management solutions provider, Tyler Technologies (TYL) has gone up 60.11 percent year to date.


The stock sold its lowest in January, at about $30 and it reached its highest in November when it traded for $49. Its current price drifts not too far away at$47.90 per share, although down 0.68 percent today for post-Christmas trading.


With a market cap of $1.47 billion, Tyler Technologies partners with local government entities – cities, counties, schools, etc. – and helps enhance their services through Tyler’s software and network of applications. Some of the services Tyler has been known to help with include the real-time access to public information, e-commerce solutions for traffic tickets, utility bills and taxes. Its client-base reaches beyond the US, to the Virgin Islands, Canada, Puerto Rico and the UK.

Stock of Columbus, Nebraska-based Valmont Industries has increased 48.83percent year to date.


Its lowest price was in January at $92 and its highest price was in the end of November at $139. Today, it trades at $134.58, down 0.38 percent in this afternoon’s trading.


As a global manufacturer of engineered infrastructure products, agriculture irrigation equipment and provider of coating services, some of Valmont’s products include lighting and traffic towers, highway safety barriers, industrial access systems and wireless communications poles.
