Legendary Investor
Warren Buffett's Berkshire returns beat the S&P 500 in 2012. In this video, Bloomberg analyzes Berkshire's performance vs. the S&P 500 in 2012. Buffett was able to beat the S&P 500 even without any big elephant acquisitions. His $88 billion dollar of stock portfolio was the key driver of Berkshire's performance. Wells Fargo (
WFC), American Express (
AXP) and Bank of America (
BAC) were the keys stocks which drove the performance. Performance was also driven by some good stock picks by Buffett's new hires Todd Combs and
Ted Weschler.
