Well-known value investing house First Eagle's portfolio manager Abhay Deshpande was on Bloomberg to discuss his investment strategy and recommends staying in cash given the runup in the markets and higher stock valuations. He also discussed where is he finding opportunities.

-- His view: Stocks are pricey, keep some cash on hand to invest when valuations become reasonable.
-- Invest in more global franchise companies where there is limited specific country level risk, companies like Nestle (NSRGY).
-- Currently holding 20% cash.
-- We will wait for dislocation before starts investing again.
-- Also looking at some distressed opportunities in Europe.
-- Most important factors they consider when deciding on investment: strong business model, little or no debt.
