BlackRock's CEO Larry Fink was on CNBC to discuss his company's results but also provided his insights into where investors are shifting money and his investment outlook for the U.S.

-- Investors are shifting money to equities vs. bonds, which they think are more risky.

-- More investors putting money into ETFs and index funds.

-- Thinks U.S. will be a great place to invest going forward and energy and manufacturing will be good stories for next few years.

-- Regarding U.S. banks and financials, he thinks U.S. banks are in their best shape and investors should look at some of the best-run investment firms.
