Muhtar Kent, CEO of Coke (NYSE:KO), was on CNBC to discuss his views on opportunities around the world and the key weak spots and how governments around the world should deal with weak spots.
-- Continue to see opportunities around the world
-- Europe - has reached bottom and should see growth from here on. There is cautious optimism that things will gradually improve
-- Volatility will continue in the markets, in terms of commodities and currencies. The general macro picture will not improve overnight.
-- Thinks youth unemployment is the greatest opportunity for improvement. The government should do something to tackle youth unemployment. Reforming education systems and collaboration with businesses will help in this regard.
