Many countries around the world are debasing their currencies. The U.S., Japan and the UK are all actively lowering the value of their currencies against real assets. Even Switzerland is printing money.

This is creating inflation, and Rogers can't think of any country that has gotten ahead by debasing its currency. In the short term it feels good while prices are going up; in the long run it ends badly.

According to Rogers, he doesn't believe in Santa Claus and he doesn't believe that money printing won't create serious inflation.

If he had to pick currencies to own they would be Australian, Canadian, Swedish and Chinese.
