My 3 Favorite Stocks With Dividend Growth From Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. The total number of stocks which announced a dividend hike shrank to 57 over the last week. That’s still a big value compared to figure of the recent months.

Dividend growth is still a popular source for growing wealth and I discover every week the latest growth stocks and publish them in my Dividend Weekly and on my blog.

My favorite pick this week is Colgate-Palmolive (CL). The toothpaste maker hiked its dividends by 9.7%. Many stocks from the financial and services sector are on the list. It could be sign for a stronger growth perspective within these areas.

The EBITDA margin is 4.61% (the operating margin is 2.64% and the net profit margin -1.05%).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 11.39% of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 34.31%. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of -2.70% was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $-1.15. Last fiscal year, the company paid $2.04 in the form of dividends to shareholders.

Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is not calculable, the P/S ratio is 0.77 and the P/B ratio is finally 2.14. The dividend yield amounts to 3.25 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 1.23.

The EBITDA margin is 9.57% (the operating margin is 7.37% and the net profit margin 4.53%).

Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 16.23% of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 42.19%. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 35.41% was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $3.59. Last fiscal year, the company paid $0.60 in the form of dividends to shareholders.
