Freshly back from a trip to China and Japan, Nouriel Roubini spins a more optimistic view than usual.
Roubini has a full list of things he likes about the U.S. right now:
- Deleveraging from the financial bubble is happening faster here than elsewhere.
- Housing is recovering.
- The shale oil and gas boom is aiding the economy.
- Manufacturing is doing relatively well.
He does think growth in the States will be sluggish in 2013, but sees 2014 as being more robust.
