When Texans do anything, it tends to be big. Case in point, Texan Guru Donald Yacktman of Yacktman Asset Management, and his funds bought BIG in the first quarter of 2013, according to GuruFocus Real Time Picks. Here’s a look at Yacktman’s recent buys and the P/Es of those stocks.

Sigma-Aldrich Corporation (SIAL)

Up 11% over the past year, Sigma-Aldrich Corporation is a specialty chemical company with a market cap of $9.48 billion. Built around life science and high technology, the company develops, manufactures, purchases and distributes chemicals, biochemicals and equipment worldwide. The current SIAL share price is $77.95 with a change from average up 1%.
