SYY, PFE awesome.

I finally am starting to grow warm to Kraft, but I don't see the growth as anything special. It's got a big name, but no growth. Even as its PE nears 15, I still think it has downside risk.

KFT does not interest me. They have many true commodities, such as packaged cheese, where their name really doesn't mean anything. It is very difficult to differentiate packaged food. The store brands keep coming and coming, and more importantly, people are willing to try them. KFT does have some offerings with good names, but they have many mediocre offerings.

I interviewed for a job at KFT HQ in the mid-90s. I wasn't nearly as impressed with them as they seemed to be with themselves.

All IMHO.

Kraft's earnings were lower in 2007 than they were in 2002. Even including their dividends it's shown a negative total shareholder return since 2002 as well.

There is no appeal there compared to the many tremendous values out there in the current market environment.
