Like 15 other billionaires in second quarter trading, Steve Mandel reduced his Google (GOOG) holding whereas nine other gurus bought or added to their holdings.

Lone Pine Capital’s mega-investor Steve Mandel was actively trading in the second quarter. His updated portfolio has 59 stocks, 12 of them new, with a total value of $20.5 billion, and a quarter-over-quarter turnover of 22%. The updated Lone Pine portfolio is heavily weighted with consumer cyclical at 30% and technology at 9% dropped from 17.9% last quarter. Consumer defensive weighs in at 8.3%.

Up 30% over 12 months, Google Inc. has a market cap of $289.8 billion; its shares were traded at around $870.21, with a P/E of 24.70. The P/B ratio is 3.64.

Guru Action: As of June 30, 2013, Steve Mandel reduced his position by 32.66%, selling 456,808 shares at an average price of $849.25, for a gain of 2.5%.
