First quarter sales plunged 14% in sporting goods and 11% in office goods. The company’s biggest client Sears faced a 60% revenue decline. Under the slow economy, retailers are cutting inventories and holding off new orders.

President & CEO Robert J. Keller bought 5,460 shares of ESCA stock on 4/16/08 at $8.42. As of February, CEO Keller has purchased a total of 8,500 shares at $8.25 to $8.96 and VP/CFO Terry Frandsen sold 8,863 shares at $9.

Gray Television, Inc. (GTN) sets their quarterly dividend at $0.03 per share. The television broadcaster posted an annual net loss of $24.8 million compared to a gain of $8.5 million from 2006 on an 81% political ad sales decline to $7.8 million.
