Tilson describes himself today as "cautious" but not "bearish."
That being said he is finding more opportunities on the short side instead of the long side.
When asked advice on how to go about building a short book, Tilson says, "Just don't do it." He refers to shorting Tesla as being a huge mistake for him, where his loss on that offset the good work done by 10 other successful shorts.
If you want to short today though, Tilson thinks you should look at the 3D printing sector.
