McDonald's (NYSE:MCD) U.S. sales dipped this quarter while overall revenue increased 1%. Analysts were disappointed in MCD's numbers, and the stock is down .18%. From the way some analysts were talking, it would seem as if MCD was going to tank. I wrote about MCD being overvalued, even though I have it in my portfolio. I still think MCD could add value to an investor's portfolio but would wait to add to an existing position since the overall market is overvalued. MCD is solid, and a very small drop in sales isn't going to be devastating. I wouldn't go as far as Jim Cramer and say that MCD is a "junk bond". Then again, who still listens to Jim Cramer?
