Berkshire Hathaway also greatly increased its holdings in Chicago Bridge & Iron. It increased its stake by an estimated 1.2 million shares raising its stake to now over 10 million shares. Berkshire now holds directly over 10% of CBI's outstanding shares. Berkshire's subsidiaries that have Defined Benefit Pension have a few million shares as well. BRK is probably buying more CBI since this flattest filing. CBI is starting to look just like Burlington Nortern. In my opinion, BRK will get up to 25% of this company before buying it. Buffett is certainly lucky that CBI has had the ridiculous article written by a short selling firm questioning its accounting of Shaw and then AP erroroneiously reported (AP did correct) BRK sold CBI shares rather than the dramatic increase.

Great catch Crafool! The stock has certainly been beaten down by the shorts' accusations. Thanks.
