The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to release in two versions. One will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and the other with Exynos 5433 8 Core processor. It will release two models in terms of design also. One of the model shall sport the curved OLED display, while the other shall come with flat OLED display. Both the models will be powered by Ultrasound Technology.

As compared to the previous Notes launched, the Note 4 will have a perforated leather back cover similar to Samsung Galaxy S5. The micro-USB 3.0 of the tablet has a flap with a thicker metallic edge around the USB port. The price of the Note is expected to come with a sticker price of around $813.

Face off with the Cupertino tech giant

This is again that time of the year when Apple (AAPL, Financial) enthusiasts are waiting for the tech mammoth to release the next version of the iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 6. Samsung’s Note 4 is a direct threat to the highly anticipated flagship product of Apple.

The two tech giants, Apple and Samsung are again going to compete with one another, with each launching their devices back to back. Apple is going to offer stiff competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with its iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 is expected to have a full metal back cover with a sleek design. The front panel is rumored to be protected by sapphire screen crystal. The smartphone is expected to have a touch ID fingerprint sensor, like what Apple offered in iPhone 5s.

In contrast, Galaxy Note 4 has a textured leather back with metal edges. A fingerprint sensor with water and dust resistant technology is also expected on the Galaxy Note. iPhone 6 is expected to have a 4.7-inch screen, while Note 4 is expected to have a 5.7-inch screen. The iPhone 6 will be running on iOS 8 software.

Samsung has worked quite smart to keep an edge over the upcoming iPhone. Note 4 seems to have some benefit with features like eye scanner technology and waterproof body, which are new addition in the tablet. Note 4 is expected to release a few days before the iPhone 6; this might also prove beneficial for it.

The South Korean giant expects its shares to shoot up after the release of the Note 4. With its new offering, Samsung is trying to solidify its position in the premium smartphone space. However, whether the company succeeds or not will be seen only after the release of the phone.
