Developers at GuruFocus today added a new feature to the All-in-One Screener that makes keeping tabs on companies’ earnings releases easier.
With the second-quarter earnings season right around the corner, the “Most Recent Financial Update” prevents you from missing results from any company in which you may have been interested. You can also use it simply for seeking companies with recent updates for investment or research purposes.
“Most Recent Financial Update” organizes companies that have released their earnings by time range. You can for example scroll to one week, three months or beyond.
According to the feature, the biggest S&P 500 companies to release their earnings in the past week were Nike Inc. (NKE, Financial), Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. (WBA, Financial), Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE, Financial), Monsanto Co. (MON, Financial) and Constellation Brands Inc. (STX, Financial). Of the five companies, the stock price of three moved by 4.5% or more in the past week.
Like any of the other fields in the comprehensive screener, you can use the financials update in conjunction with any of the other searches, like companies that recently updated their earnings that are large caps, small caps, in Africa, in Warren Buffett (Trades, Portfolio)’s portfolio, and so forth.
The “Most Recent Financial Update” is located on the bottom left corner of the Fundamental tab of the All-in-One Screener.
