I liked UPS two years ago when I bought at $69.95. I still like it now at $71.34, which represents a whopping 1%/year growth rate. In fact I sold off all my FDX at $86.15 to buy UPS. FDX is now $108.49, so I gave up an 11%/year growth rate. Hmmpf.

Based on fundamentals, UPS is the better company. But for the past two years, the market preferred FDX's high growth rate to UPS's better operating margins. I'm patient though. I'll give UPS another few years.
