(GuruFocus, October 6, 2009) Apparel brand owner V.F. Corporation (VFC) is set to raise its dividend for the 38 th year, that is according to Bloomberg. Bloomberg claims to have 92% accuracy in predicting this kind of things.

V.F. Corporation designs manufactures and markets branded jeanswear, intimate apparel, children's playwear, occupational apparel, knitwear and other apparel. Its principal brands include Lee, Wrangler, Riders, Rustler, Vanity Fair, Vassarette, Bestform, Lily of France, Lee Sport, Healthtex, JanSport, Eastpak, Red Kap, and The North Face. Vf Corp. has a market cap of $7.99 billion; its shares were traded at around $71.7 with a P/E ratio of 14.5 and P/S ratio of 1. The dividend yield of Vf Corp. stocks is 3.3%.
