The famed international investor Jean-Marie Eveillard's First Eagle Global Fund does not own any Toyota Motor Corp. shares, even though his fund has a heavy overseas exposure, particularly in Japan.

According to GuruFocus data, Guru Charles Brandes owns 1,583,476 shares as of 12/31/2009, an increase of 140.12% from the previous quarter.John Rogers owns 101,735 shares as of 12/31/2009, which accounts for 0.17% of the $4.91 billion portfolio of ARIEL CAPITAL MANAGEMENT LLC. Other than that, nobody we track owns any Toyota Motor shares. Compared to the formidable market share of Toyota in the US, Investment Gurus clearly underweight on Toyota Motor stock.
Maybe that is a good thing for the time being. Toyota Motor stock dropped more than 20% since the its current trouble started in the mid of January.
