On Aug. 2 JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced that it will redeem all of the 88,000 outstanding shares of its 6.30% non-cumulative preferred stock, Series W, on September 1. The shares of Series W Preferred Stock are represented by 35,200,000 depositary shares which are currently traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The redemption per share for the Series W Preferred Stock will be $10,000, or $25 per depositary share.

On July 31 Enterprise Products Partners LP announced the closing of Altus Midstream’s acquisition of a 33% equity interest in Enterprise subsidiary that owns the Shin Oak natural gas liquids pipeline. The acquisition was effective on July 31. The 658-mile Shin Oak Pipeline transports natural gas liquids production from multiple basins, including the Permian, to Enterprise’s storage complex in Mont Belvieu, Texas.
