Sarah Ketterer of Causeway International Value was interviewed by Bloomberg on June 6, 2010. In the interview, she discussed where opportunities exist. She gave some reasoning as to why she likes pharmaceuticals and international banks. Some of her largest holdings include Novartis AG (ticker: NVS), Sanofi-Aventis SA (ticker: SNY), UBS AG (ticker:UBS) and more recently Banco Bradesco SA(ticker: BBD).

Ketterer states that the rally that has occurred over the past year still provides opportunities. Not as many, but they are still there. Especially internationally. Right now the international markets are more attractive than they were in 2005 and 2006.

As a value investor, Ketterer says that she likes to find companies and industries that are in trouble. And then find companies that are attractive from those opportunities. In particular, she sees a lot of value in consumer and pharmaceutical companies. She thinks they have been left behind by many investors.Internationally, she sees a lot of opportunity in financial institutions.
