ACCO Brands Corporation is incorporated in Delaware. The Company designs, develops, manufactures and markets traditional and computer-related office products, school supplies and paper-based time management products. It sells its products primarily to markets located in the United States, Northern Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. The Company's brands are organized into three business segments: ACCO Brands North America, ACCO Brands International, and Computer Products Group. ACCO Brands North America and ACCO Brands International segments manufacture, source and sell traditional office products, school supplies, calendar products and document finishing solutions. ACCO North America comprises the U.S. and Canada. ACCO Brands International comprises the rest of the world, mainly Europe, Latin America, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. The Computer Products Group designs, distributes, markets and sells accessories for laptop and desktop and tablets and smartphones. These accessories mainly include security products, iPadcovers and keypads, smartphone accessories, power adapters, input devices such as mice, laptop computer carrying cases, hubs, docking stations and ergonomic devices. This Group sells mostly under the Kensington, Microsaver and ClickSafe brand names with the majority of its revenue coming from the U.S. and Western Europe. The Company's subsidiaries operate mainly in the United States, Northern Europe, Canada, Brazil, Australia and Mexico. Its main registered trademarks include ACCO, AT-A-GLANCE, ClickSafe, Day-Timer, Five Star, GBC, Hilroy, Kensington, Marbig, Mead,MicroSaver NOBO, Quartet, Rexel, Swingline, Tilibra, and Wilson Jones. Its customers include commercial contract stationers, retail superstores, wholesalers, resellers, mail order and internet catalogs, club stores and dealers. It also supplies its products to commercial and industrial end-users and to the educational market. The materials used in the manufacturing of many of its products are plastics, resin, polyester and polypropylene substrates, paper, steel, wood, aluminum, melamine, zinc and cork. Competitors of the ACCO Brands Americas and ACCO Brands International segments include 3M, Avery Dennison, Blue Sky, Carolina Pad, Dominion BlueLine, Esselte, Fellowes, Franklin Covey, Hamelin, House of Doolittle, Newell Rubbermaid, Smead, Spiral Binding, Tops Products and numerous private label suppliers and importers. Competitors of the Computer Products Group include Belkin, Fellowes, Logitech and Targus. The Company is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations concerning the discharge of materials into the environment and the handling, disposal and clean-up of waste materials and otherwise relating to the protection of the environment.
